Darrelle Revis: I don't care if DeSean Jackson plays or not

One potential matchup that would attract a lot of eyeballs in the Washington Redskins-New York Jets game on Sunday is DeSean Jackson lining up against Darrelle Revis. It's not just because both players are extremely talented, though. It's because of the comments Jackson made during the offseason.

"I don’t think no one can guard me," he said. "It’s how I feel about myself. I don’t feel no one can stop me. You can get Darrelle Revis, Richard Sherman -- whoever you want to get."

The only potential barrier blocking this matchup is Jackson's health. The wideout's not a sure bet to play on Sunday, as he's dealing with a hamstring injury that's forced him to miss the last four games. Whether or not he plays, is no concern of Revis'.

"I don't care if he plays or not," Revis said via Rich Cimini of ESPN. "It's about us as a team."

Even if Jackson does play, there's a chance Revis wouldn't be assigned to him. Jackson could draw the coverage of Buster Skrine -- a quicker, smaller cornerback than Revis. If Jackson does play, and Todd Bowles is expecting him to -- it would be a treat to see him line up against Revis for at least a few plays.
