Dolphins C Mike Pouncey (foot) day-to-day after being carted off Sunday

It was an injury-filled loss for the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, losing Earl Mitchell, C.J. Mosley, Mike Pouncey and Rishard Matthews due to injury.

None of the four players were able to return to the game, with Pouncey's injury appearing to be the most serious. Pouncey was carted off the field with a foot injury and later spotted on the sideline wearing a boot on his foot, but the Dolphins got a bit of good news on Monday.

Head coach Dan Campbell said during his press conference that Pouncey is considered day-to-day, with Ian Rapoport of NFL Network calling it a "mild foot sprain."

Obviously, that's huge news for the Dolphins as Pouncey's replacement on Sunday, Jamil Douglas, struggled with his snaps all game long. He consistently gave Ryan Tannehill low snaps and doesn't appear to be a viable replacement going forward if Pouncey misses time.

The Dolphins are expected to search for help at center given Douglas' struggles, though it's not a certainly that Pouncey will miss any games.
