Dolphins reserve cornerback Davis headed for IR

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) Miami Dolphins reserve cornerback Will Davis will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury suffered in the team's victory over Buffalo.

Davis will go on injured reserve, coach Joe Philbin said Friday. Davis was hurt making a tackle on kick coverage during the second half of Miami's 22-9 victory.

A third-round pick in 2013, Davis had 12 tackles this season as a reserve.
