Anderson out for Cardinals; Gamble for Panthers

Published Dec. 19, 2010 4:50 p.m. ET

The Arizona Cardinals have two active quarterbacks against Carolina with Derek Anderson sidelined for the second straight game with a concussion.

Rookie John Skelton will make his second straight start, with recent signing Richard Bartel backing him up.

Arizona linebacker Clark Haggans is active and starting Sunday despite being listed as questionable with a groin injury.

Panthers cornerback Chris Gamble was a surprise scratch after being listed as probable with a strained hamstring that kept him out the past two games. Gamble had been benched for poor play in the last game he played, but said earlier in the week that he'd start against the Cardinals.

Wide receiver Armanti Edwards (illness) was also inactive for Carolina.
