Adidas unveils James Harden's new signature logo with a truly bizarre video
Warning: What you're about to see may disturb you, especially if you're not a fan of the Houston Rockets.
On Tuesday, Adidas unveiled the official logo for James Harden's signature shoe, which will debut later this year. On the whole, the logo's pretty solid. It seems to pay homage to Harden's beard (up top) and his hair (on the bottom), with a prominent "H" standing out in the negative space:
But check out the video Adidas released to promote the unveiling of the logo (which in itself is one heck of a sentence. Hooray, marketing!) It might give the more sensitive souls among us nightmares:
Literally the only thing that makes sense in that video is the launching of several rockets that surround Harden's disembodied head. And even that moment of clarity is torn asunder by Harden's eyes turning into flames.
On the other hand, I can't look away. I want to watch it for the rest of my life, until Harden's eyeballs drag me to the underworld to serve in his eternal shoe army.
Or something. Anyway, Harden has a new logo, and shoe will be out in December. Here's hoping it doesn't corrupt your mind.
