He's back, a bit more game-ready thanks to some action in the NBA's Development League.

On Wednesday, the Pacers recalled forward Rakeem Christmas from Fort Wayne, their D-League affiliate. He had been assigned to the Mad Ants on Sunday, which was long enough for him to play two games, see the court for 40 minutes and total 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Christmas, 25, has played nine games with Fort Wayne this season, averaging 9.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 23 minutes a game.

He has spent most of his time with Indiana on the bench. He is averaging 1.3 points and 0.8 rebounds over six games with the Pacers this season.

The Pacers play the Cavaliers in Cleveland on Wednesday night, then host the Wizards on Thursday night.
