LA Sports Awards: City securing 2028 Olympics, Dodgers winning NL Pennant named Top Moments of 2017

The City of LA winning the 2028 Olympics and the Los Angeles Dodgers advancing the World Series were named the No. 1 Sports Moment of 2017 at the 13th Annual LA Sports Awards at The Beverly Hilton.

The winners were determined by a online fan vote, as well as, an eight-person media panel.

It's the first top moment tie in LA Sports Awards history.

The LA Sports Awards will air on Monday, Feb. 19 at 8:30p on FOX Sports West.

In other award presentations, Cody Bellinger of the Dodgers was honored as 2017 Sportsman of the Year and NCAA beach volleyball champions Kelly Claes and Sara Hughes of USC were selected Sportswomen of the Year. Rams coach Sean McVay received the Coach of the Year award and LA 2028 Chairman Casey Wasserman was named the top Sports Executive.

Renowned sportscaster Al Michaels presented a special Lifetime Achievement Award to retired LA Kings Hall of Fame broadcaster Bob Miller.
