KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) The Royals have signed outfielder Jarrod Dyson, right-hander Louis Coleman and catcher Tony Cruz to one-year contracts, avoiding arbitration.

Dyson received a raise from $1.225 million last year to $1.725 million this season. He's in the mix to be one of the Royals' primary outfielders, along with Alex Gordon and Lorenzo Cain.

Coleman will make $750,000, the same as last season, while Cruz agreed to a $975,000 deal. He was acquired from the St. Louis Cardinals this offseason and made $775,000 last year.

All three can earn a $50,000 bonus for making the All-Star team.
