CINCINNATI (AP) The Indians called up right-hander C.C. Lee from Triple-A Columbus on Thursday, adding a reliever for the final game of their interleague series against the Cincinnati Reds.

Lee begins his fourth stint with Cleveland. He's 0-0 with a 4.26 ERA in 15 games this season.

Cleveland optioned starter Danny Salazar to Columbus a day after he started an 8-3 loss to the Reds. Salazar is 4-5 with a 4.88 ERA in 12 starts. The Indians expect to let him make one appearance with Columbus before bringing him back up.

Manager Terry Francona said reliever Carlos Carrasco would start in New York on Sunday in Salazar's spot.
