Injured Glik set to return for Poland at World Cup

WARSAW, Poland (AP) Poland's team doctor says injured defender Kamil Glik should be fit to return to play in the World Cup game against Japan.

Dr. Jacek Jaroszewski on Tuesday said Glik is healing quickly but still requires physical therapy to build strength ahead of Poland's last Group H game on June 28.

Glik injured his left shoulder during training in Poland last Monday and there were concerns initially that he wouldn't make the trip to Russia. French doctors re-examined him Monday and gave him the ''green light'' to play, paving the way for Jaroszewski's decision.

Videos posted on Twitter accounts shows Glik exercising his left arm with a therapist.
