Center Max Unger set to go for Seahawks in NFC playoffs
Center Max Unger is expected to start on Saturday when the Seattle Seahawks host Carolina in the NFC divisional playoffs.
Seattle coach Pete Carroll said Unger was ''good to go'' on Thursday as the Seahawks wrapped up practices for the week. Unger missed the final six games of the regular season with an ankle injury.
The Seahawks' lone injury question is tight end Tony Moeaki, who suffered a calf injury in practice on Tuesday and did not participate on Wednesday and Thursday. Carroll said Moeaki would be a game-time decision.
Seattle is expected to have five players back that missed the regular season finale against St. Louis: Unger, wide receiver Jermaine Kearse (hamstring), cornerback Tharold Simon (shoulder), defensive end Demarcus Dobbs (ankle) and tight end Cooper Helfet (ribs).
