Chip Kelly: Sam Bradford 'threw the ball well' in Week 7 loss

Published Oct. 26, 2015 10:21 a.m. ET

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford went 26 of 46 for 205 yards passing with zero touchdowns and one interception, but head coach Chip Kelly came away impressed with his starting quarerback.

[Bradford] threw with authority tonight," Kelly said to reporters, per Penn Live. "Drops, obviously, hurt big time."

Each week, Kelly has found a new group to shift the blame to. While the Eagles certainly had their fair share of drops -- 8 was the tally by Pro Football Focus -- this stat doesn't explain Bradford's woefully 4.5 yards per pass attempt.

For the first time all season, Bradford did not throw a touchdown pass. He enters the Eagles' Week 8 bye with just 1,766 passing yards, 9 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
