Jared Allen: 'I'm just trying to get feeling back in my foot'
The Carolina Panthers are set for a huge Week 6 matchup on the road against the Seattle Seahawks. While they were fortunate enough to get star linebacker Luke Kuechly back at practice on Tuesday, they were without their newest player in Jared Allen.
According to Bill Voth of Black and Blue Review, Allen is apparently still dealing with a pinched nerve in his back, which has left him without feeling in his foot.
Fortunately, as Darin Gantt of Pro Football Talk explained, Allen said that he's still planning to play Sunday, stating that he's "ready to rock." The idea of seeing him paired up with Kuechly and the rest of this defensive unit after the bye week has to be pretty exciting for fans.
Here's to hoping that Allen recovers quickly.
