Carlos Ruiz buys a billboard ad to thank Phillies fans

Carlos Ruiz had spent his entire 11-year MLB career with the Philidelphia Phillies -- until he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers last month.

It's been a few weeks since Ruiz left the only fanbase he's ever known, but the longtime Phillies catcher clearly doesn't want the fans in Philly to forget him.

This week, Ruiz took out a billboard on I-95 in Philadelphia with a personal message thanking the beloved fans.

The billboard can be seen along the interstate near the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, where Citizens Bank Park, the home of the Phillies, is located.
