The Seattle Mariners claimed right-hander Mike Morin off outright waivers from the Kansas City Royals, the team announced Friday.
Morin, 26, had signed a one-year deal with the Royals on Dec. 1.
The Royals had acquired Morin, who went to high school at Shawnee Mission South in Overland Park, Kansas, off waivers from the Angels in September. He had a 7.94 ERA in six appearances (5 2/3 innings) for Kansas City.
