Twins add seven players to 40-man roster

The Twins added seven players to the 40-man roster on Friday, promoting left-handers Pat Dean, Mason Melotakis, Taylor Rodgers and Randy Rosario, right-handers J.T. Chargois and Yorman Landa and outfielder Adam Brett Walker.

Of the group Dean and Rogers have the most experience, having both spent last season with Triple-A Rochester

Dean posted a 2.82 ERA in 179 innings, as he worked more innings than any other player in the International League.

Rogers finished the season with a 3.98 ERA after spending the season in Rochester's starting rotation, logging two complete games, 44 walks and 126 strikeouts in 28 appearances.

The only position player added to the 40-man roster, Walker hit .239 last season with 31 doubles, three triples and 31 home runs for Double-A Chattanooga, while racking up 106 RBI.
