It's a record! Angels fans set 'selfie stick' world record

There's a new 'selfie stick' king in town!

During Friday nights game with the Tampa Bay Rays, fans at Angels Stadium set a new Guinness World Record for the most selfie sticks being used simultaneously in one place.

After receiving Angels selfie sticks upon entrance to the game, fans across the stadium rose to their feet between innings to snap a selfie and etch the Angels and Angel Stadium into the records books. A Guinness World Record official was on hand to confirm the record before presenting the team with a keepsake documenting the achievement.
