Bills coach's son reportedly tried to help victim after punch
By Steve DelVecchio
Aaron Kromer was arrested over the weekend for allegedly punching a juvenile boy in the face over some beach chairs, and it sounds like the Buffalo Bills offensive line coach put his son in a very difficult position in the process.
Kromer’s son, Zachary Cromer, is also listed in the official police report from the incident. Both men are said to have “confronted” three minors over the use of beach chairs without permission. The victim says Aaron threw his fishing pole into the water, punched him in the face and threatened to kill his family if he told the police. Zachery, on the other hand, appears to have felt some remorse over the way things unfolded.
According to the police report, Aaron returned to his nearby home after telling the boys to return the beach chairs to where they found them. Zachery stayed behind to try to help the victim find his fishing pole in the water.
It will be interesting to hear Aaron’s side of the story, though it’s impossible to imagine he’ll have an acceptable excuse for punching a minor and threatening to kill his family. The fact that Zachery stayed behind to help the victim makes it seem like Aaron has some anger management issues.
