The Cleveland Indians added top prospect Francisco Lindor to the roster and placed DH Nick Swisher on the 15-day disabled list Sunday.

The infielder's contract was purchased from Triple-A Columbus, where he hit .281 with 22 RBI in 58 games. Lindor was selected with the eighth overall pick in the 2011 first-year draft. He was not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Swisher has inflammation in his left knee. He's hitting .198 with two homers and eight RBI in 30 games.
