Twins fall 4-3 to Red Sox in spring training

The Minnesota Twins fell 4-3 to the Boston Red Sox in a spring training matchup Friday.

Fernando Rodriguez worked two innings for Boston to get the win in relief of starter Hector Velazquez. Blake Swihart and Jeremy Barfield each doubled for Boston.

Aaron Slegers worked two innings in the start for the Twins, striking out two. Outfielder Ryan LaMarre drove in all three Minnesota runs, drawing a walk with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh and scoring two on a single to center in the top of the ninth.
