ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Rookie defensive tackle Trysten Hill of the Dallas Cowboys is active for the first time in five games for the Thanksgiving matchup with Buffalo with Antwaun Woods sidelined by a knee injury.

Dallas safety Jeff Heath is inactive for the second time in three games. He’s been battling issues with both shoulders for several weeks.

Woods had already been declared out for Thursday’s game along with linebacker Leighton Vander Esch, who is missing his third game since injuring his neck against Philadelphia on Oct. 20.

Hill was the top draft pick by Dallas in the second round this year after the Cowboys traded their first-round choice for Amari Cooper last season.

The former Central Florida standout has had a hard time getting on the field. Hill was inactive in seven of the first 11 games and has just one unassisted tackle.
