The 6-foot-8 Tatum averaged 16.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks per game in 29 games for the Blue Devils this season (he missed the first eight games because of a foot injury). He was a driving force behind the team’s four-day run to the ACC tournament title this month, averaging 22 points in those four wins.

"I'm excited to take the next step in pursuing my lifelong dream of playing basketball at the highest possible level," Tatum said Wednesday, according to the Charlotte Observer.
