The sophomore has been an impact scorer over that stretch, averaged 22.3 ppg (compared to an 11.8 ppg average in the previous 12 games). Duke did play a notably tough non-conference slate, as is typically the case, so Evans could very well find himself with more favorable matchups in league play.
