Kings activate G Jonathan Quick for first game since season opener

The Los Angeles Kings activated goalie Jonathan Quick from injured reserve ahead of Saturday afternoon's Freeway Faceoff matchup with the Anaheim Ducks.

Quick suffered a lower-body injury during the season opener on Oct. 12 and hasn't played since, missing 59 total games.

Last season, Quick became the first goaltender in Kings history to win at least 40 games.

The team also added forward Jordan Nolan to the active roster and assigned goalie Jeff Zatkoff to Ontario (AHL).
