Starting in Dallas Quick will guard the road goal versus the Stars on Saturday, Eric Stephens of The Athletic reports.
Impact Quick was a little shaky in his last start Tuesday against the Predators, surrendering three goals on just 27 shots en route to a 3-2 defeat. He'll try to snap his personal two-game losing streak in a road matchup with a Dallas team that's averaging 3.54 goals per game at home this season, sixth in the NHL.

Comes up short in shootout Quick stopped 24 shots in regulation and overtime and two of three shootout attempts in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Stars.
Impact Only two pucks got past Quick on the afternoon -- Joel Kiviranta snapshot from the faceoff circle in the second period, and a Roope Hintz wrister from the slot in the shootout -- but that was enough to hand the veteran netminder the OTL. Quick is now 5-2-2 since joining the Golden Knights, but his 3.13 GAA and .901 save percentage with Vegas indicate his level of play hasn't improved much, only the quality of the roster around him.

'Insanely weird': Kings brace for seeing Jonathan Quick in a Vegas jersey Sixteen seasons. A legacy unmatched by any other goalie in Kings history. Now, Kings players are adjusting to seeing Quick in new colors.

Can't overcome Predators Quick turned aside 24 of 27 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss to Nashville on Tuesday.
Impact Quick surrendered two of those three goals while the Predators were on the power play. This was the second straight start that he's lost, but at least the goaltender improved compared to his March 28 outing against Edmonton, during which he allowed six goals on 34 shots. Quick has a 5-3-0 record, 3.43 GAA and .895 save percentage in nine contests since being acquired by Vegas.

Tending twine Tuesday Quick will defend the cage on the road against Nashville on Tuesday.
Impact Quick will have a shot at redemption after having given up six goals on 34 shots against the Oilers on March 28 before getting the hook. The 37-year-old netminder will have to avoid looking ahead to Thursday's clash with his former club the Kings, though coach Bruce Cassidy refused to name a starter for that contest this early.

Pulled after two periods Quick stopped 28 of 34 shots in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers.
Impact Quick was pulled after the second period of the high-scoring contest, though Laurent Brossoit allowed a goal on five shots in the third. Quick's two losses with Vegas have come in his last four outings. The 37-year-old is down to 16-15-4 with a 3.50 GAA and an .880 save percentage through 39 appearances this season. The Golden Knights' next game is Thursday in San Jose, though it's yet to be determined which goalie will start.

Slated to start Per Jesse Granger of The Athletic, Quick was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate, putting him on track to guard the home goal versus the Oilers on Tuesday.
Impact Quick was pretty solid in his last start last Tuesday versus Vancouver, stopping 31 of 34 shots en route to a 4-3 victory. He'll try to secure a second straight win in a tough home matchup with a red-hot Edmonton team that's gone 8-1-1 over its last 10 games.

Impact Quick has been outstanding with the Golden Knights, winning all four starts since the trade from LA via Columbus. Quick has a 2.22 GAA and .930 save percentage with Vegas after a terrible time with the Kings, where he went 11-13-4 with a 3.50 GAA and .876 save percentage. He will face the Flames, who are 10th in the Western Conference standings.

Stops 27 in win Quick allowed three goals on 30 shots in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Flyers.
Impact Quick held Philadelphia scoreless until Travis Sanheim's goal midway through the second period. The Flyers would add another two goals in the third, but Quick and the Golden Knights hung on for the 5-3 win. The 37-year-old netminder has looked more like his younger self since joining Vegas, going 4-0-0 with a .930 save percentage. Quick is now 15-13-4 with an .883 save percentage on the season. He'll continue to serve as Vegas' top goaltender while Adin Hill (lower body) is sidelined.

Gaining momentum Quick made 33 saves in a 4-0 win over Carolina on Saturday.
Impact He was flat-out spectacular at times Saturday and seems to be building real confidence in his game after struggling in L.A. It was Quick's 58th NHL shutout and first for the Golden Knights. He tied John Ross Roach (1921-1935) for 21st on the NHL's all-time shutout list. And Quick moved past Andy Moog into 18th on the NHL's all-time win list (373).

Starting Thursday Quick will defend the road crease in Tampa Bay on Thursday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
Impact Quick won his first start with the Golden Knights on Sunday, giving up three goals on 28 shots in defeating Montreal. Quick had a tough time in his last season with the Kings, going 11-13-4 with a 3.50 GAA and .876 save percentage before his trade to Columbus and then Vegas last week. Quick will face the Lightning, who are sixth in NHL scoring, averaging 3.48 goals per game this season.
MARCH 9 • ROTOWIRE
Second straight win Quick made 34 saves in a 4-3 overtime win over Tampa Bay on Thursday.
Impact Quick almost won in regulation, but the Bolts scored twice in 1:39 late in the third to force overtime. Nikita Kucherov fired a one-timer outside the right circle that went in off the near post at 17:53. And then Kucherov completely fooled Quick with a fake from the right dot that he one-timed to Brayden Point in the slot, and the latter scored into the open net with 28 seconds left. Quick is now 2-0-0 on the Strip. Thursday was the first time he has topped .900 (.919) in save percentage since Dec. 23, 2022.

Wins Vegas debut Quick stopped 25 of 28 shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Canadiens.
Impact Quick's first game as anything other than a King started off well. Things got shaky as the Canadiens scored three times in the third period, but the Golden Knights were able to maintain the lead. The 37-year-old is up to 12-13-4 with a 3.48 GAA and an .877 save percentage through 32 outings this season. Playing behind Vegas' defense figures to help his ratios and his win total, but the workload distribution between him and Adin Hill isn't clear yet. The Golden Knights begin a tough road trip Tuesday in Florida.
