INJURIES

Allows one goal in loss Quick turned aside 30 of 31 shots on net in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Predators.
Impact Quick displayed a fantastic effort Sunday, as he held Nashville to just one even-strength goal before the Predators grabbed the go-ahead goal in an empty-net scenario. With the loss, he now has a 3-5-1 record with a 1.78 GAA and a .937 save percentage across nine appearances this season. When he's been called upon to start so Igor Shesterkin can have a night off, Quick has turned back the clock and played elite. Among goalies with nine appearances or more, he has the best save percentage and GAA. What could be considered even more impressive, however, is the fact that he's lost each of his last five starts and his stats have continued to triumph. While his small sample size is hard to sustain, the 39-year-old netminder is one of the best spot-start options in fantasy and can still provide lineups value in his 19th season.

Defending crease Sunday Quick will defend the road net against Nashville on Sunday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.
Impact Quick will get the second half of the Rangers' back-to-back after Igor Shesterkin played in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over Philadelphia. The 39-year-old Quick has gone 0-3-1 in his last four outings despite allowing only 10 goals on 120 shots. Nashville ranks 24th in the league this season with 2.82 goals per game.

Tough night in Tuesday's loss Quick stopped 14 of 16 shots in Tuesday's 3-0 loss to the Canucks, with Vancouver's final goal getting scored into an empty net.
Impact The veteran netminder didn't get a whole lot of help, but Quick also wasn't at his sharpest, letting a long-range shot from Liam Ohgren trickle through him for the Canucks' second goal. Quick hasn't picked up a win since Nov. 7, going 0-3-1 over his last four starts despite a 2.49 GAA and .917 save percentage while missing a couple weeks during that span due to a lower-body injury.

Defending cage Tuesday Quick will be in goal for Tuesday's home clash with the Canucks, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.
Impact Quick takes the second half of a back-to-back after Igor Shesterkin gave up three goals on 25 shots in a 4-1 loss to Anaheim on Monday. It will be Quick's second appearance in goal over the Rangers' last 12 contests. The veteran backstop enters the game stuck in a three-game losing streak during which he has posted a 0-2-1 record to go with a 2.63 GAA.

Falls in overtime Quick stopped 26 of 29 shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.
Impact Quick returned from missing the previous six games due to a lower-body injury sustained versus the Mammoth on Nov. 22. He was dressed as the backup Saturday versus the Avalanche but didn't play. Quick is now 3-3-1 on the year with a 1.86 GAA and a .937 save percentage through seven starts. He doesn't get a lot of playing time behind Igor Shesterkin, but Quick is worth consideration as a streaming option whenever the Rangers have a back-to-back set. Their next such set is Dec. 15 and 16 with home games versus the high-scoring Ducks and lowly Canucks, making Quick a great target should he face the Canucks.

Drawing home start Quick will the defend the home net Sunday versus the Golden Knights, per Mollie Walker of the New York Post.
Impact Quick was activated from injured reserve Saturday and will make his first start since Nov. 22 in Utah after contending with a lower-body injury. The veteran netminder has lost his last two outings, but he's been a solid No. 2 option this year, as he's posted a 3-3-0 record, 1.69 GAA and .944 save percentage over six appearances. The Golden Knights have won three consecutive games and are coming off a 3-0 win in New Jersey on Friday.

Removed from IR Quick (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, according to Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic.
Impact The Rangers returned Spencer Martin to AHL Hartford in a corresponding move. Following a six-game absence, Quick should play in Saturday's home game against Colorado or Sunday's home matchup versus Vegas. He has posted a 3-3-0 record this season while surrendering 10 goals on 177 shots.

Not ready to return yet Quick "isn't quite ready" to return to the lineup yet, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports Tuesday.
Impact Quick hasn't played since Nov. 22 in Utah. Igor Shesterkin will get the home start Tuesday versus Dallas, while Spencer Martin will back him up. Quick is 3-3-0 with a 1.69 GAA and a .944 save percentage across six appearances this season.

Lands on IR Quick (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, according to Peter Baugh of The Athletic.
Impact Quick sat out Monday's 3-2 win over St. Louis, and he will miss at least three more contests after landing on the IR list. He has earned a 3-3-0 record while allowing 10 goals on 177 shots in six appearances this season. Dylan Garand has been serving as Igor Shesterkin's backup during Quick's absence.
NOVEMBER 25 • ROTOWIRE
Dealing with injury Quick (lower body) isn't expected to be in the lineup for Monday's home game against St. Louis, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports.
Impact Quick has posted a 3-3-0 record while allowing 10 goals on 177 shots in six appearances this season. He is undergoing an evaluation to determine a timeline for his return. The Rangers recalled Dylan Garand on Sunday from AHL Hartford to serve as Igor Shesterkin's backup against the Blues.
NOVEMBER 24 • ROTOWIRE
Strong effort unrewarded Quick stopped 31 of 34 shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Mammoth.
Impact Quick took a second straight loss, but he once again played well. The Mammoth were able to get a goal in each period. On the year, Quick is 3-3-0 with a 1.69 GAA and a .944 save percentage in six starts. Igor Shesterkin will likely handle the goaltending duties Monday versus the Blues, but Quick should be back between the pipes once during the Rangers' next back-to-back, either Friday in Boston or Saturday at home against the Lightning.

In goal Saturday Quick will guard the visiting goal in Utah on Saturday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.
Impact Quick is 3-2-0 with a sparkling 1.42 GAA and a just as impressive .951 save percentage across five starts this season. He will face the Mammoth, who are averaging 3.00 goals per game this season, tied for 18th in the NHL.

Heroic effort falls short Quick stopped 40 of 42 shots in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Red Wings.
Impact Quick kept the Rangers in the game as long as he could, but Lucas Raymond's goal with 3:47 left in the third period was the decisive tally. While it was Quick's second loss of the year, the fault isn't on him. He's been excellent while going 3-2-0, adding a 1.42 GAA and a .951 save percentage through five starts. He won't sustain those numbers all year, but Quick is among the top backups in the league, despite his limited playing time behind Igor Shesterkin. With no back-to-back sets over the next week, it's unclear when Quick might get his next opportunity between the pipes, though Shesterkin has not started more than four consecutive games yet.

Facing Detroit Quick will be between the home pipes Sunday versus the Red Wings, per Colin Stephenson of Newsday.
Impact Quick has been tremendous with a minimal workload in 2025-26 -- he is 3-1-0 with one shutout and has turned aside 96 of 101 shots across four starts. The two-time Stanley Cup champion's last start also came against Detroit, as he stopped 32 of 33 shots in a 4-1 win earlier this month. The Red Wings are coming off a 5-4 overtime loss to the Sabres on Saturday and are tied for 18th in the NHL with 3.00 goals per game.
