Scott on Bayne after Nationwide wreck: 'You can't fix stupidity'

Published May. 3, 2014 4:59 p.m. ET

An aggressive move by Trevor Bayne in Turn 4 triggered a 10-car crash on Lap 60 that took out all three Richard Childress Racing cars in the Aaron’s 312 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.

Bayne was racing for the lead when he made contact with Brian Scott heading into Turn 4, and the crash was on from there. "You can’t fix stupidity," a disgusted Scott said after the incident.

"That damn 6 (Bayne) is a weapon every freaking week," added car owner Richard Childress.
