Bubba Watson's trick shot is the best way to conquer Oakmont's rough

The U.S. Open course at Oakmont this week is expected to be one of the toughest in the championship's storied history. The greens are lightning quick. The rough is just about as thick as it gets. And it's a long course -- really long. Bubba Watson seems to have figured out how to conquer the daunting rough, though.

He pulled off a ridiculous trick shot during a practice round at Oakmont. Only, it's not exactly legal. After popping the ball out of the rough, which is a challenge itself, Watson tapped it back to himself, caught it, and casually tossed it into the cup.

If only he could use this technique during tournament play. It'd make green-side rough much easier to deal with.
