Michigan recruiting class continues growing

Published Jun. 15, 2015 5:26 p.m. ET

Jim Harbaugh's first full recruiting class as head coach at Michigan reached 13 members on Monday when Dudley (Mass.) Shepherd Hill tight end Sean McKeon verbally committed.

McKeon visited Michigan over the weekend and told Scout.com his top schools were Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Boston College and Virginia along with Michigan.

He is the 11th-ranked tight end in the East region and is listed 6-foot-5, 226 pounds by Scout with a verified 40-yard dash time of 4.52 seconds.

McKeon committed a day after Cooper City, Fla., defensive end Rashad Weaver gave his pledge to be a Wolverine.

Weaver has not been rated yet by Scout but reportedly had offers from Illinois, South Florida, Syracuse and Temple, among others.

The Detroit Free Press reports Weaver was another prospect discovered during Michigan's satellite camp tour that concluded last week.

That cross-country tour has so far yielded two unrated commits in Weaver and Delray Beach (Fla.) Atlantic cornerback Antwaine Richardson as well as two-star prospect Dytarious Johnson of Prattville, Alabama.
