Kobre scores 15 points as Pacific routs Bethesda, 88-30
STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) Alec Kobre scored 15 points and Pacific routed Bethesda University, 88-30 in a non-conference game Saturday night.
The Tigers roared out of the blocks in the first half to score 48 points while holding the Flames to just 14. The second half was more of the same with Pacific outscoring Bethesda 40-16.
Ilias Theodorou scored 10 points off the bench for Pacific (4-12). The Tigers used 14 players in the contest and all 14 scored. Pacific shot 57.4 percent from the field (35 of 61), including 12 of 22 from long range. The Tigers collected 26 assists.
Bethesda also used 14 players but had a harder time scoring. No one reached double-figure scoring for the Flames, who shot 22.6 percent from the field (12 of 53), including 1 of 14 from distance. The Flames committed 22 turnovers in the game.
