Titans coach says left tackle Lewan has sprained left knee
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Tennessee left tackle Taylor Lewan has a sprained left knee and is day-to-day.
Titans coach Mike Mularkey announced the injury update on Monday and said it is possible Lewan plays Sunday when the Titans (5-6) visit Chicago (2-8).
Lewan hurt his knee on the Titans' final drive of their 24-17 loss to Indianapolis. Lewan left the injury update to Mularkey but told reporters in the locker room Monday that he heard a loud popping noise when hit in his knee. He wore a compression sleeve around his knee Monday.
The third-year veteran has started all 10 games this season for Tennessee and 31 of the 36 games he's played since being drafted at No. 11 overall out of Michigan in 2014.
