MIAMI MARLINS PRESS RELEASE

The Miami Marlins revealed a special 25th anniversary logo during an exclusive Q&A with the Marlins' 1993 Opening Day starter Charlie Hough and broadcaster Glenn Geffner at Marlins Park in front of select current Season Ticket Members who have held accounts since 1993.

Additionally, the Marlins will hold a 25th Anniversary weekend celebration June 8-10 against San Diego, when the team will wear commemorative throwback teal pinstripe uniforms for all three games. The weekend will also feature an exclusive 25th Anniversary bobblehead gift for Season Ticket Members. Marlins Park will also turn back the clock on pricing that weekend, with $4 Vista Level tickets for all three games - the same price as an adult general admission ticket for Opening Day in 1993. Additional details regarding the weekend recognition and programming will be announced at a later date, such as player alumni appearances and a fan generated art project to be commissioned at Marlins Park in recognition of the anniversary and Marlins fans. The team will also recognize moments from the inaugural season during each 2018 Marlins home game.

During the June weekend celebration, Marlins Season Ticket Member Stuart Farber will throw out a ceremonial first pitch, as selected by Charlie Hough during today's event.
