CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) Three former college football players - two from Clemson and one from Duke - have been arrested and charged with armed robbery and possessing a weapon while committing a crime.

The three are Jadar Johnson and C.J. Fuller of Clemson and Quaven Ferguson of Duke. They were arrested by Clemson police Wednesday. Police say they knocked on the victim's door, forced their way in and took cash and a cellphone.

All three had bond set Thursday at $25,000. Their legal representation is unclear.

Johnson, a defensive back, started on Clemson's 2016 national championship team and was signed by the New York Giants. Johnson gave up football shortly after camp began.

Fuller, a defensive back, started three games last season and finished with 217 yards rushing. He announced his intent to transfer this past February.

Ferguson, a defensive lineman, played three seasons at Duke and was transferring.
