Christopher Vizzina - Named QB1 Head coach Dabo Swinney announced that Vizzina is the No. 1 QB, per Jon Blau of The Charleston Post and Courier.
Impact Vizzina has seemingly won Clemson's starting quarterback job after having looked more impressive than Tait Reynolds throughout spring practice. Vizzina spent the past two seasons backing up Cade Klubnik and completed 64 of his 105 pass attempts for 596 yards, four touchdowns and one interception across 11 appearances.

Chris Denson - Active for spring game Denson (foot) was observed playing during Saturday's spring game, Lou Bezjak of The State Newspaper reports.
Impact Denson had been recovering from a foot injury that he suffered in November and appears to have put it behind him. The 6-foot-2 quarterback completed all four of his pass attempts for 22 and one touchdown across 2 appearances last season.

Jarvis Green - Healthy for spring Green (foot) participated in Clemson's spring game, Lou Bezjak of The State Newspaper reports.
Impact Green notably logged a three-yard carry, and Clemson's head coach Dabo Swinney said it was good to have the running back after he did not play all of 2025. During 2024, he not only recorded nine carries for 53 yards but also recorded a receiving touchdown.
MARCH 28 • ROTOWIRE
Tristan Smith - Out for spring game, ankle injured Smith (ankle) is out for Clemson's spring game, Jon Blau of The Charleston Post and Courier reports.
Impact Smith being out for Clemson's spring game should not be so surprising, considering it was announced earlier in March that he would undergo surgery for a leg-related injury. The exact problem involves his ankle, and it is unknown when his post-procedure will be.
MARCH 28 • ROTOWIRE
Bryant Wesco Jr. - Held out of spring game Wesco (neck) will not play in Saturday's spring game, Jon Blau of The Charleston Post and Courier reports.
Impact Wesco continues progressing through his neck injury but will still be forced to sit out the team's spring game. The sophomore wide receiver is expected to make a full recovery by fall camp.
MARCH 28 • ROTOWIRE
Cole Turner - Practicing, will miss spring game Turner (lower body) is back at practice for Clemson, but he's still slated to miss the Tigers' spring game, per Chapel Fowler of The Columbia State.
Impact Turner missed Clemson's Pinstripe Bowl against Penn State after a 16-catch, 144 yard season. He's set to return for his fifth year of college football at Clemson this fall, but he's still working his way back from the lower body injury he suffered at the end of the season. Turner will look to be full go by fall camp.
MARCH 28 • ROTOWIRE
T.J. Moore - Will miss spring game Head coach Dabo Sweeney stated that Moore will not play in Saturday's spring game as he deals with an undisclosed injury, Chapel Fowler of The Columbia State reports.
Impact Moore appears to be dealing with some sort of injury but has reportedly returned to practice this week. The sophomore wide receiver will be forced to miss out on the spring game but should be back to full health during the summer.

Jay Haynes - Not full contact in spring Haynes (quadriceps) is still not full contact in spring ball, Jon Blaue of Post and Courier reports.
Impact Haynes suffered an offseason quadriceps injury ahead of the 2025 season, and he ended up missing every game. The 5-foot-11 running back appears to still be progressing back from his ailment, which makes him still not full contact three weeks after spring ball commenced. He'll hopefully be able to make a full recovery before fall camp at least, but there has been no other information regarding his timeline.

Tristan Smith - Will undergo surgery Smith (leg) will undergo surgery on Tuesday, Chapel Fowler of The Columbia State reports.
Impact Smith recently posted a picture of himself using a scooter for his right leg, so it appears that is what will cause him to undergo surgery Tuesday. It is a new setback for the wide receiver, who temporarily dealt with an eligibility problem going into Clemson's spring practice. Considering the magnitude of Smith's leg problem and the long time before his 2026 season is set to begin, it would not be surprising if he is out until the summer, though that has not been confirmed.
