Gunnar Nelson draws Alan Jouban for UFC Fight Night in London

The upcoming UFC Fight Night card in London has just added a co-main event as submission specialist Gunnar Nelson is set to face Alan Jouban in a welterweight showdown on March 18.

UFC officials announced the new matchup on Tuesday.

Nelson returns to action for the first time since last May when he earned a submission victory over dangerous striker Albert Tumenov, which moved his record to 2-2 over his past four fights.

The Icelandic grappler cracked the top 10 rankings with the win but now to maintain his position he's going to have to go through one of the most exciting 170-pound fighters on the UFC roster.

Jouban has recently put together an impressive three-fight win streak, including a victory over Mike Perry in his last trip to the Octagon this past December.

Jouban always seems to put on thrilling performances, but this fight with Nelson will give him the opportunity to finally get his name in the rankings as well.

Nelson vs. Jouban will meet in the co-main event on the card with light heavyweights Jimi Manuwa and Corey Anderson set to square off in the headliner for the UFC's return to London in March.
