Kvitova opens against Flipkens in Fed Cup semis

Petra Kvitova will open against Kirsten Flipkens on Saturday when the Czech Republic takes on Belgium in the Fed Cup semifinals.

Yanina Wickmayer, the highest ranked Belgian in the absence of the injured Kim Clijsters, will play the second singles match against Barbora Zahlavova Strycova.

The reverse singles will be Sunday, along with the doubles. In that match, An-Sophie Mestach and Alison van Uytvanck will lead the host team against Iveta Benesova and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova.
