Seaside showdown is postponed

The Seasiders revealed a Saturday meeting was held involving both clubs, police, the local authority and the Premier League where it was decided that in the interests of supporter safety and despite the Bloomfield Road pitch currently being playable, Sunday's game should be postponed.
