Chesterfield's Marc Richards has been dealt another blow with the news he faces up to another six weeks on the sidelines.

Striker Richards, 30, has only recently returned to the first-team picture after a month out with an ankle injury.

The summer signing lasted only a couple of minutes on his comeback against Fleetwood on Tuesday night, suffering a hamstring strain.

Chief executive Chris Turner said: "We are waiting for the results of the scan coming back but I think we're looking at four to six weeks."
