Forward Pablo Osvaldo has been kicked off Italy's squad for upcoming matches and the Confederations Cup for insulting his club coach at Roma.

Italy coach Cesare Prandelli made the decision Monday after the Azzurri began training for a friendly against San Marino on Friday and a World Cup qualifier at the Czech Republic on June 7.

Osvaldo was seen insulting Roma coach Aurelio Andreazzoli after the Giallorossi were beaten 1-0 by Lazio in the Italian Cup final Sunday. He insulted him again Monday on Twitter. Osvaldo also skipped the awards ceremony.

Prandelli's code of conduct entails that players who get into disciplinary problems with their clubs are excluded from the national team.
