Leeds United are up for sale again after owners Gulf Finance House (GFH) confirmed they are looking to offload the club.

GFH only bought United on 21 December but in the company's statements for the year ending 31 December 2012, they have revealed an 'active plan' to sell their stake in LUFC Holdings Limited.

Bahrain-based GFH also described the acquisition of Leeds as a 'bargain purchase'.

"The Group has an active plan to sell its stake in LUFC Holdings Limited, and accordingly, the asset and liabilities acquired were classified as held-for-sale and presented in the consolidated statement of financial position," GFH stated in the company's accounts for 2012.

"Subsequent to the year end, the Group has commenced negotiations relating to the sale of its stake in LUFC Holdings Limited."

Local businessman Steve Parkin has been linked with a fresh attempt to buy the club by local media after he failed in his previous attempt.

To add to the sense of uncertainty around Elland Road, Leeds manager Neil Warnock has indicated he will leave at the end of the season if they do not make the play-offs.

United are seven points adrift of the play-off places with eight games to go in the regular season.

Mourinho is widely reported to have a less than smooth relationship with club president Florentino Perez, and it is expected that he will not continue at the helm of Real beyond this summer.

But the Portuguese tactician - who admits his next job is likely to be in England - is adamant that an agreement is already in place

"I have no agreement with Real Madrid to go. I have signed nothing, that's a nonsense," Mourinho told RTP.

"The criticism? Nothing affects me, nothing bothers me. I do not go crazy nor do I get depressed. Nothing motivates me more than my own motivation."

He was again quizzed about his future and said: "My future? I am not training outside of Spain, England, Italy or France."

Mourinho was nominated for the 2012 FIFA Ballon d'Or Coach of the Year award, but he did not attend the gala and he criticised the voting policy.

"I don't regret not attending the gala at all," he said.

"One, two or three people phoned me to tell me that they had voted for me and later, when the list of votes was published, another name appeared by their votes. That was why I decided not to go to the gala.

"I'm accusing FIFA of irregularities in the vote for best manager in the world. There was a lack of transparency. FIFA was aware of these irregularities, knowing they were there, but did nothing to avoid them."

FIFA denied Mouirinho's claims.

Oldham's outstanding player Jose Baxter set up goals for Robbie Simpson and Jean Yves Mvoto before scoring the third himself to lift his side out of the relegation zone and leave Pools second from bottom after their winless run was extended to five matches.

Hughes, whose side are seven points from safety, said: "This was our cup final, but you would never have believed it.

"We needed to snarl, bite, win tackles and chase every ball, but it didn't happen.

"We need a miracle to stay up now and, if we keep playing like that, we've got no chance.

"We've given ourselves hope over the last few weeks, so it was bitterly disappointing to see that performance.

"These performances creep in now and again and there was too much acceptance of what was happening.

"We needed people to wear their heart on their sleeve and win individual battles, but the only leaders were in Oldham shirts.

"Oldham were hungrier and it was transparent that some of our players didn't want to get into the right areas."

The 24-year-old midfielder is due to see his specialist within days after having an injection in his injured knee earlier this month in a bid to solve a long-running problem.

However, while hoping that surgery will not be required, O'Neill is facing up to the prospect of having to do with his captain for most, if not all, of the remaining eight games of the Barclays Premier League season.

He told the Sunderland Echo: "Lee has a few more days to go after having had the injection.

"The specialist told him not to do a great deal and while he is obviously working with the physiotherapist, he is not doing anything that will risk damaging his knee.

"We hope for the best but, to me, if he comes back this season, then that would be a bonus - and an unexpected bonus.

"We may have to cope without him - and even if he does successfully come back from the injury, he will still be nowhere near match fit."

Cattermole has managed only 14 appearances to date this season and has had to sit back and watch helplessly as the Black Cats' winless run has extended to seven games, in the process plunging them into relegation trouble.
