Monterrey and Cruz Azul will meet in next week's Mexican Apertura championship final after coming through the semifinals in contrasting styles.

Monterrey, which had beaten Toluca 2-0 in the first leg, settled for a 1-1 draw in Sunday's away leg to reach the final with a 3-1 aggregate win.
