Hamburg willing to let go midfielder David Jarolim
Hamburger SV says it is willing to release veteran midfielder David Jarolim during the January transfer period.
Sports director Frank Arnesen says if Jarolim wants to leave the club, ''we will let him go in the winter.'' Jarolim's contract ends next summer.
The 32-year-old Czech has played 242 games for Hamburg since 2003 but has been rarely used by new coach Thorsten Fink.
Meanwhile, midfielder Romeo Castelen will be out for up to four weeks with a groin injury. Castelan recently returned from a knee injury that took him out for nearly two years.
