Guatemala beats St. Vincent 3-0 in Cup qualifier

Guatemala beat St. Vincent and the Grenadines 3-0 on Friday in a World Cup qualifier to maintain an unblemished record in Group E.

Mario Rodriguez scored in the 44th and 57th minutes and substitute Dwight Pezzarossi netted in the 75th minute to seal the victory.

Guatemala now has nine points and plays Belize on Oct. 11. St. Vincent and the Grenadines plays Grenada on Oct. 15.

The top team from each group will face another round for a place in the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil.
