Gonalons added to France roster against US

Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons has been added to France's roster for Friday's exhibition game against the United States.

The French Football Federation says France coach Laurent Blanc made the addition Wednesday, one day after Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri withdrew because of tendinitis in a knee.

Blanc has several ailing midfielders. Chelsea winger Florent Malouda hurt a thigh, and Newcastle's Yohan Cabaye has a groin strain.
