Mexican club Cruz Azul and Toronto FC from Major League Soccer played a scoreless draw Tuesday night in a Group A match in the CONCACAF Champions League.

Cruz Azul improved to seven points in four matches, three clear of the Canadians. Real Salt Lake has six points in three games and could move into the lead with a victory Wednesday at Arabe Unido of Panama.

Cruz Azul had more chances in the first half but failed to generate clear scoring opportunities. The second half had little continuity with three yellow cards in the first six minutes without a shot on goal.
