Tottenham booked their place with an almost effortless destruction of the Germans at White Hart Lane. Younes Kaboul followed up his derby winner by putting Spurs ahead with a sixth-minute volley before Luka Modric doubled the advantage in first-half stoppage time. Gareth Bale missed a second-half penalty and rattled the woodwork twice before Crouch rounded off proceedings with a close-range tap-in with 11 minutes left. Crouch told Sky Sports 1: "It's a great achievement, we want to give a good account of ourselves in the next round. "It was a great team performance throughout the Champions League campaign, we have played very well and deserve to go through. "Every big club wants to be in the Champions League playing against the best teams in the world. "We want to get as far as we can for the fans and for us as well." Modric added: "Our aim was to qualify for the knockout stage, we are very pleased with that. "It was comfortable for us. We scored three goals and could have scored more so we are happy. "We showed we can compete in the Champions League." Spurs boss Harry Redknapp was proud of his team's achievement which sees them top Group A ahead of Inter Milan with a game to go. Redknapp said: "It is fantastic for us to get through, that was a difficult group when it was drawn although it didn't look it tonight. I think they lost a little bit of heart. "Overall I think we've done very well. "We want to win it [the group], you want that top spot if you can get it. "It looks as though most big teams will finish top of their group so it's important if you can finish top." The north London side visit FC Twente in their last match with Rafael Benitez's Inter travelling to face Bremen and Redknapp is relieved his team have already qualified. "They are a good home side but we are looking forward to it, it's nice to go there and give it a go without too much pressure," he said. "You don't want to go there needing a result to qualify. "It was a good performance tonight: we didn't get stretched defensively but when we did I think William Gallas was outstanding. He has brought an awful lot to the team. "There were some great performances from everybody and I've been delighted with all of them."
