Ronaldo has ended a four-month scoring drought by converting a penalty kick in Corinthians' 1-1 draw with Atletico Paranaense in the Brazilian league.

The late goal Wednesday at the Arena da Baixada stadium in Curitiba was Ronaldo's first since May 9, when he also scored from the penalty spot against the same team at Pacaembu stadium.

The three-time FIFA player of the year is struggling to stay fit and has been playing sparingly with Corinthians this season.

The 33-year-old is likely to be rested in the team's match against Gremio on Saturday in Sao Paulo.
