Atletico Madrid coach Quique Sanchez Flores will leave the Spanish club when his contract ends at the close of the season.

Sanchez Flores says Sunday's game against Hercules will be ''my last at the Vicente Calderon (stadium).''

The 46-year-old Spaniard replaced Abel Resino in October 2009 and led Atletico to a Europa League triumph and a spot in the Copa del Rey final in his first season.

Seventh-place Atletico, which beat Inter Milan in August to win the European Supercup, has stumbled this season as it tries to clinch the league's last Europa League spot. It sits three points ahead of Espanyol with two matches to play.
