Brown relishing challenge
Fleetwood wideman Junior Brown is continuing to relish the challenge of pitting his wits against the cream of League Two.
Despite a heavy summer recruitment drive, Brown managed to retain a place in Micky Mellon's squad to join his club in making his Football League debut.
The decision to move the former Crewe youngster onto the left wing has proved inspired, with Brown contributing five goals as the Cod Army find themselves among the division's pacesetters.
"You come into the Football League and the players you play are of a better standard," he said. "A lot of them have played at higher levels and are on their way out, coming towards the end of their careers.
"It's a great opportunity that Fleetwood have given me and I'm just thriving on it at the moment. Long may it continue that I keep putting in performances for the boys, for the team and for myself as well.
"As long as I can continue playing the way I am with the confidence I am then I don't see why I can't keep scoring and why the team can't be up there for automatic promotion."
