SAN ANTONIO — UTSA officially reported for its third fall camp in program history on Sunday at Chaparral Village on the Main Campus.

The preseason roster, which can be as high as 105 per NCAA rules, initially will consist of 103 players. The Roadrunners will go through 25 workouts in preparation for their 2013 opener at New Mexico, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. (CT) on Saturday, Aug. 31. The team's home opener at the Alamodome is slated for seven days later against preseason Big 12 favorite Oklahoma State and the 11 a.m. contest will be televised nationally on FOX Sports 1.

Head coach Larry Coker announced Sunday that senior wide receiver Cole Hicks will not participate in fall camp due to a knee injury (out indefinitely) and redshirt freshman offensive tackle Alex Delgado will miss the 2013 campaign due to a shoulder injury. He also said senior defensive end Will Ritter has been reinstated to the squad and will begin participating in team activities this week. Any further disciplinary action will be announced at a later date.

UTSA returns 50 letterwinners and a total of 20 starters (10 offense/8 defense/2 kickers) from last fall's squad that posted an 8-4 overall record and 3-3 mark in its lone year in the Western Athletic Conference.

Both season and single-game (home and away) tickets currently are on sale for the program's first campaign in Conference USA in 2013. Fans can click here or call (210) 458-UTSA (8872) for more information on purchasing tickets.
