It took nearly three months, but the Lakers finally signed their lone draft pick.

The team announced on Friday the signing of rookie forward Ryan Kelly, from Duke, and, per team policy, terms of the agreement were not released.

A former McDonald's All-American, who was part of the Blue Devils' 2010 NCAA Championship team, played all four seasons for Duke where his averaged 7.5 points and 3.7 rebounds while shooting 46 percent from the field for his career.

As a senior, Kelly was named ACC Player of the Week twice and earned honorable mention All-ACC honors despite missing 13 games due to injury. Kelly finished his final season with the Blue Devils averaging 12.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.6 blocked shots in 28.9 minutes.

Kelly is expected to compete for playing time immediately during his rookie season with the Lakers.
